Barry Goralnick receiving the Innovation In Design Award
Barry Goralnick receives the Innovation In Design Award from New York Cottages & Gardens. The ceremony was held at New York City’s famous Rainbow Room.
Goralnick won the Reader’s Choice Award for his Cate clustering cocktail tables, which are part of his collection for Vanguard Furniture.
Bringing the evening full-circle, Donna Karan was honored with a lifetime achievement award. Barry Goralnick and Donna Karan worked together early in both of their careers designing Donna Karan’s showroom.
Barry is a five-time nominee for the Innovation In Design Award from NYC&G. He has been nominated for his Spencer Cocktail Table, which is also from his line for Vanguard Furniture. His Max Dylan sofa for Ferrell Mittman and his iconic Bracelet table lamp for Visual Comfort Lighting garnered nominations in recent years.
In addition to receiving nominations in product design, Goralnick has been nominated for garden design.
